Shutter Bug

I started taking a Black & White Photography course this week just to learn more about taking great photos and I truly enjoy B&W photos. I have borrowed a camera and have been playing around.

Easter Egg Hunt

The kids were able to enjoy their first 2007 Easter Egg Hunt this morning. Naturally, we spent the first 20 minutes cleaning their eyes so they could see out of them.

It's Pink!

Tuesday morning Benjamin woke up seeing out of only one eye as the other was covered with green-goo. Both of Isabel's eyes became infected Wednesday afternoon and now Benjamin started antibiotics in the other eye. Luckily, I am here on goo-wiping duty.

A Cavity!

Isabel had her 6 month cleaning today and the found a cavity!

Isabel got to pick out the lollipop of her dreams today as a reward for going #2 in the potty!! Benjamin was admiring it and stalking her for more glimpes of this fascinating item.

So many projects

Hello all,
So sorry that I have not updated in a while but I have undertaken numerous projects at once including: rearranging the family room, designing an playroom, making a craft table for said room and researching new (and more exciting) wall decor. I will add lots of new photos soon.

Christmas Morning-the magic begins

I know that we (I) was the most excited. The day began with Isabel noticing all of the presents under the tree as she decended the stairs. She then went running to the kitchen to verify that Santa had indeed come....the cookies and milk were all consumed!

Christmas Eve

Isabel loves playing with her Uncle's dog 'Jose' and even bought him some doggie treats for Christmas.

Cookie Party

The kids enjoyed playing at a friend's & decorating cookies.

Ladies Night Out

My sweet friends Emily and Kim took me out for my Birthday. We were able to enjoy hours of un-toddler/baby-interrupted conversation.

Santa Baby

Breakfast with Santa

Today is the annual Ashaway Stroll and one activity is the breakfast with Santa. Isabel kept talking about sitting on Santa's lap to ask for a toy and book but then would not get near him unless Mommy was holding her. Ben tried French Toast and OJ today and will never want to go eat milk and baby food again! Not a great pic but captured the chaos.

Largest Bouquet

Isn't this the largest bouquet you have ever seen (except in hotel lobby)? From my parents for bday....Hey, hands of my cake!

New Words

It is official: Ben has clearly stated "Up' and 'Dada' this evening. Naturally, 'Mama' was the first word!

Sickness

We have had an interesting week. I finally had to get some antibiotics for a sinus infection and Ben popped his 7th and 8th teeth early in the week. Wednesday was my Birthday and although I did not feel to well, we went to Newport to visit the mansions with all the Christmas decor. Upon arriving home, Isabel quickly went from a bouncy toddler to a very ill looking one with a temp. of 103. We were able to get that down to 101 within 2 hours and have been medicating her when the fever spikes however, we see no other signs of illness. However, we went to her music class today and she only clung to me and did not want to play with other children-odd! Oh, and Dom has 2 wisdom teeth out yesterday and is doing well.
